John F. Kennedy School of Law

The John F. Kennedy School of Law at Northcentral University is dedicated to providing highly motivated, diverse students with the tools they need to succeed in the legal profession. Programs within the School of Law will emphasize both the practical and underlying legal concepts of the law profession. Students will learn the fundamentals of written and oral communication within the law, as well as develop analytical competencies necessary for working in their communities.

Make a Difference in the Legal Field

The JFK School of Law offers a rigorous yet flexible curriculum for students with a passion for justice in both legal and paralegal studies. Taught by experienced faculty, who are practicing attorneys or legal professionals, the Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and the Paralegal Certificate are approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), and the Juris Doctor program is accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners for the State Bar of California.

Whether you have prior experience or you’re just starting on your path to a career in the legal field, NCU’s law programs will prepare you to fight for justice and make a difference in your community.

The JFK School of Law at NCU has been placed on probation by its accreditor, The State Bar of California, through its Committee of Bar Examiners, due to reporting a five-year cumulative bar exam pass rate (MPR) of 39.7 for 2020, when a minimum of 40 percent is required under Rule 4.160(N); the law school must raise this MPR to 40 percent or more by July 1, 2022 or the law school’s accreditation may be terminated. See current MPR statistics for all accredited law schools on the State Bar’s website.
