The First Step Scholarship

National University wants to help remove barriers to higher education, including the financial commitment required for graduate school. This is why we’re offering three (3) new students a full tuition scholarship and two (2) new students a $20,000 scholarships in master’s and doctoral programs.

How It Works

To be considered for The First Step Scholarship, you must apply to NU, submit an essay, and start your master’s or doctoral program by April 24, 2023. There’s no application fee for NU. Recipients will be announced on or before June 9, 2023.

Simply submit the Request Information form to begin your scholarship application. Applicants will be required to submit either a 500-700 word essay (maximum two pages, double-spaced) or a 2-4 minute audio or video file.
